How it helps

Use fade in / fade out on the go

Fade in and fade out are useful when an audio clip starts too suddenly or ends too sharply. A short fade can make ringtones, intros, outros, and voice clips sound more polished.

The tool applies the fade locally to the decoded audio buffer, then creates an MP3 or WAV file for manual download.

Processing runs in your browser after the file is decoded. Browser support depends on the file format, codec, device memory, CPU, and current browser features. For sensitive or confidential audio, review privacy practices carefully before using any online tool.

Formats

Browser-supported audio input

The upload field accepts common audio extensions, but the browser must be able to decode the actual file. MP3 and WAV are the safest choices. OGG, OPUS, M4A, AAC, M4R, FLAC, and AIFF vary by browser and operating system.
